One of the most often used nuts, hexagon nuts work with threaded rods, anchors, bolts, screws, studs, and any other machine-threaded fastener. Hexagons are shortened to "hex," which indicates that they have six sides. Other names for hexagon nuts are whole hexagon nuts and finished hexagon nuts. Hex nuts can be utilized with lock washers.
