The differences between black oxidation, galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing and yellow zinc plating
Black oxidation: The color of the metal surface turns black when it is exposed to air, water, or other chemicals in a natural or artificial setting. This occurrence is known as blackening.
There are two types of galvanizing: hot-dip galvanizing and electrogalvanizing. Hot-dip galvanizing involves submerging the entire metal component in molten zinc to create a coating, whereas electrogalvanizing involves applying a layer of zinc to the metal surface via an electrolytic technique.
Yellow zinc plating: Generally speaking, yellow zinc plating refers to a unique electrogalvanizing method that uses an electrolytic procedure to deposit a coating of zinc on the metal surface, but the surface treatment is yellow.
Application fields and advantages and disadvantages:
Blackening treatment: Applicable to agricultural tools, furniture, construction, industrial production and artworks, etc., to increase the practical and artistic value of the product and create a classical or retro aesthetic. Galvanizing: Widely used in building structures, auto parts, furniture, power equipment and other fields to protect appliances from corrosion and enhance their wear resistance.
